National Service Scheme of Shri Dnyanesh College organized a guided awareness program on “Cyber Security and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act 2012” with the aim of creating awareness in society regarding the growth of cybercrime.
Chandrapur District Superintendent of Police Rabindra Singh Pardesi as a special guide in this program gave detailed guidance to the students on this occasion. Speaking he said “Students should read newspaper regularly. If you want to be successful in any field of life, you need knowledge. You get this knowledge from various books as well as from newspapers. Apart from reading a daily newspaper, you should listen to English news on the radio and TV”. Love My Marathi. Later in our home, we should be in the role of laborers in agriculture. Rabindrasingh Pardesi, Superintendent of Police of Chandrapur district performed the ritual of telling the students the value of hard work by asserting that. He informally interacted with the students and guided them by telling them about their own experiences in the context of ethical conduct and goal setting. The occasion was the awareness program of the National Service Scheme Department of Shri Dnyanesh College.
On behalf of the National Service Scheme, an awareness program regarding cybercrime was organized for junior and senior college students on 13th October 2023 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. A comprehensive guidance on Cyber Security and Anti-Child Sexual Exploitation Act 2012 was also explained on this occasion.
The number of youth on various social media such as Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, and Instagram has increased significantly. There, people who behave irresponsibly commit a lot of crimes, some even blackmail people. All of us are trapped in the web of the internet. Many people are cheated here in different ways. Many people commit suicide and some go to jail. Students should focus only on their studies at this age. To achieve success in life one must work hard. This assertion was made by Roshan Irpate, Police Inspector of Community Cell. Also, Mujawar Yusuf Ali, a cyber-crime practitioner, gave detailed guidance to the students.
Sadanand Borkar, Secretary, Bhartiya Shikshan Sanstha, presided over the program. The program was introduced by the principal of the college, Dr. Suresh Bakare. Sindewahi Police Inspector Tushar Chavan, Police Sub-Inspector Mahale, Taluka Police Patil men and women, NSS volunteers, college professors, and the majority of students were present on this occasion. The program officer Dr. Gajanan Kortalwar coordinated the whole ceremony and Hemant Meshram gave the vote of thanks for the program. The volunteers of NSS worked hard for the success of the program.
